AB Chandler National Honor Society (NHS) Raised Funds for Haiti Relief
AB Chandler National Honor Society raised money for Haiti Relief by hosting a Valentine Queen and King contest. Students voted by placing a penny in a jar for their favorite staff member. One penny equaled one vote. The king and queen were announced during morning assembly on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at AB Chandler Gymnasium. NHS students presented a check for $351.12 to Erin Cox, a medical missionary working with the group Village to Village during the assembly. Erin was in Haiti when the earthquake struck and gave a presentation about her experiences.

Chinese Acrobats and Program were great fun!
Several of our children participated in a wonderful cultural event. They danced the ribbon dance, wore a Chinese dragon, played drums and really enjoyed themselves.
